A dedicated support service in Huddersfield is seeking compassionate Support Workers to assist a female client with an Acquired Brain Injury. We are on the search for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers for an exciting opportunity to work with our female client with an Acquired Brain Injury in the Clayton West area of Huddersfield.
Supporting clients in achieving their rehabilitation and development goals.
Whilst there is flexibility needed, the client’s current activities mean that support is needed for:
As our client gets involved in new activities and develops her independence this hours may evolve.
Assisting with daily living tasks and meaningful activities.
Facilitating community engagement and social participation.
Supporting with prompting for personal care and allowing a break for our client’s family from caring responsibilities.
Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and our client’s family to keep our client safe and happy.
The role includes taking the client out in the community and so a driver is essential. Mileage whilst with the client is paid at 45p per mile.
A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
All candidates would be required to undertake a DBS, reference and right-to-work checks as well as ensuring all mandatory training completed.
The MDT working with the client will also offer training from time to time and you will be required to attend. This is a great opportunity to learn from a multitude of professions and enhance your experience and knowledge.
