A leading health and social care charity in Fort William is seeking compassionate individuals for a support role providing day-to-day care to a gentleman in his home. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, driving the client’s vehicle, and maintaining a compassionate connection. Flexible shift options range from 10 to 25 hours per week. Candidates should ideally have a UK driving license and a genuine passion for helping others. A supportive work environment and ongoing training are provided.
What makes Community Integrated Care a great place to work:
We’re one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities, and we’re proud to be pioneers in person‑centred care. Our vision? Your Life, Your Choice. Our strategy? Best Lives Possible. And our vibe? Supportive, passionate, and always up for making a difference.
Whether you’re new to care or a చ seasoned pro, we’ll give you the tools, training, and TLC to thrive. Because when you go the extra mile for others, we go the extra mile for you.
You’ll be part of a close‑knit team who provide day‑to‑day support in this gentleman’s own home.
In this role, you’ll support with some personal care and moving and positioning, so previous experience in moving and positioning would be beneficial.
The young man we support does his own cooking, medication and finances and is a very private person, so we’re looking for friendly individuals who would be interested in sharing his interests.
UK driving licence is essential as the role would require driving this gentleman’s vehicle during daily activities. For insurance purposes, candidates must be aged 25 or over.
Access to your own vehicle would be useful due to the location of the service.
⭐Got heart? You’re halfway there.
