We’re looking for caring, reliable and experienced Support Workers to join our brand-new team at Elizabeth Close in Oldland Common, a bespoke supported living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new flagship service, supporting individuals as they step out of specialist hospitals or secure environments and rebuild their lives safely in the community
About Oldland Common
Oldland Common is a newly built development offering six self-contained homes for adults aged 18 and over.The service is designed for people with high levels of complexity, including behaviours that challenge, communication differences, autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs and, in some cases, forensic histories.
Our aim is to support people to resettle successfully into the community, develop independence, build meaningful routines, and live safe, fulfilling lives. Support is typically delivered on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis, depending on the needs of each individual.
About the role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in helping each person settle, grow and thrive at their own pace. Your responsibilities will include:
