A local school in Manchester is seeking a Support Practitioner: Attendance Officer to promote positive attendance and support students. The role involves delivering group work and individual sessions under the guidance of the Assistant Head Teacher. Ideal candidates are compassionate, well-organised, and skilled in engaging young people. A full driving license is required. This full-time position offers a salary range of £28,598 to £31,022 and requires availability Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 4:15 pm.
Salary: Band 4 £28,598 to £31,022 FTE (actual salary £25,228 per annum)
Working Pattern: Term time plus 2 weeks
Contract type: Full time 5 days per week, 37.50 hours per week
Start date: as soon as possible

Applications are invited for the post of Support Practitioner: Attendance and Welfare to ensure that our school fulfils its statutory attendance, child protection and exclusion obligations.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Assistant Head Teacher of Behaviour and Attendance to promote positive attitudes towards regular school attendance; deliver group work and 1:1 sessions and support students in alternative provision.

Candidates must be available to work Monday to Friday, 8.15 am to 4.15 pm. Some flexibility with working times will be required. A full driving licence and access to a car is essential.
