Overview
This job involves supporting procurement, fleet, assets, warehouse, administration, compliance and reporting, and other supply chain tasks in line with IRW policies and donor requirements. The role includes regular site visits, documentation uploads, and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Support procurement transactions by preparing quotations, contracts, POs, payments, screening, and related procurement matters in alignment with IRW policies and donor requirements.
- Support fleet management in planning, movements, fuel control, resource utilization, contracting, driver management, vehicle maintenance, and related tasks.
- Support asset management, including tagging, tracking, disposal, planning, and related activities in accordance with IRW policies.
- Support warehouse management: inventory, storage, release, physical counts, tracking, disposal, and other related tasks.
- Support premises and facilities management: identification, maintenance, contracting, services, tracking, documentation, reporting, and related tasks.
- Support administration tasks: accommodation and travel management and all related admin duties in line with policy.
- Assist with compliance and reporting: compile reporters and trackers for SC functions, submit reports to the supply chain officer, identify bottlenecks, and contribute data analysis and action plans for improvements.
- Perform other supply chain, administration and IT tasks as requested by line management.
- Conduct regular visits to project implementation sites and other programmatic sites.
- Ensure compliance with IRW procedures for uploading supply documents, reports, trackers, and related matters to Shared Folders.
Education
Education: Completion of bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or another relevant technical field.
Experience
Experience: 1+ years of progressive and relevant experience in the related field of supply chain. Understanding of development and humanitarian work is an advantage; experience with humanitarian organizations is an advantage.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel to remote or conflict-affected areas. Familiarity with local laws and regulations and excellent communication skills.
Language
Language Requirement: Fluency in English is required.
