Salary: Grade 2 - (£24,796 x 14.84%) Grade 2 - (£24,796 x 11.87%)

6 hours and 15 minutes per week – Term Time Only

Grade 2 – (£24,796 x 14.84% Term time Only)

5 hours per week - Term time only

Grade 2 – (£24,796 x 11.87% Term time Only)

Start Date – As soon as possible

The Governing Body wish to appoint two Supervisory Assistants to work at Penywaun Primary School to complement our existing team.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be comfortable with children, and be able to deal with them on a daily basis.
  • Have patience and empathy in dealing with children.
  • Have excellent people skills.
  • A willingness to work hard.

Duties will include:

  • Supervising children in the Dining Hall, in the playground and, when it is raining, in the classroom.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and encourage good manners. (in line with the school’s behaviour policy).
  • Following the School Safeguarding policy and procedures.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils.
  • Supporting children in developing social skills and playing cooperatively.
