Exciting opportunity to be part of a new program that will provide new models of care for walk-in/urgent care access including days, evenings and weekends. The new CHA CBHC Cambridge program provides behavioral health evaluation and initial treatment services for individuals of all ages.
The Supervisor, Social Work provides day-to-day coordination and oversight of the staff in the CBHC, reporting to the Program Manager of the CBHC Urgent Care and the Director of Urgent Care/Access Services. Runs team huddles and meetings as needed, performs triage, assigns cases and monitors caseloads, is the point person for clinical and administrative issues that arise on the team (such as Section 12), is responsible for clinical oversight of team patients, and provides handoff to the Program Manager on patient and staff issues. Acts as a liaison with the Mobile Crisis Intervention Team and Psychiatric Emergency Service when in the supervisory role. The Supervisor, Social Worker functions as a clinical social worker in the service, providing evaluation and treatment services for patients.
