As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting approved foster carers whilst ensuring the highest standard of care for children in Hillingdon. Working with a relationship-based model, you will contribute to our OUTSTANDING service and help us make a difference to children's lives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing regular supervision, guidance, and support to approved foster carers
  • Completing statutory visits, annual foster carer reviews, and quality assessments
  • Safeguarding children by identifying and responding to risk, concerns, and allegations
  • Contributing to placement stability, matching, and support planning
  • Maintaining accurate, timely case recording and reports

About you

  • Hold a recognised social work qualification

  • Be able to work collaboratively with children's social workers and partner agencies

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check, qualifications check, professional registration check and 5 years of referencing. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable groups.
