Qualifications

• Experienced MESM Cat. A1.
• Knowledge of MOD nuclear policies and regulations.
• Knowledge of safety analysis techniques, including HAZID.

Responsibilities

• Leading safety case documentation for naval nuclear reactor plant.
• Conducting safety hazard analysis for submarine design.
• Providing technical oversight for civil nuclear power stations.

Skills

Experience of working in the commercial industry in support of the submarine enterprise

Knowledge of submarine whole boat or nuclear infrastructure safety cases

Experience in risk management and reduction

Familiarity with technical assurance/governance

Education

Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer status
