Job Function: Business Development and Sales

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the identification and structuring of 3–5 year growth opportunities by conducting research, data analysis, and preparing documents for strategic planning initiatives.
  • Assist in monitoring market trends and competitor strategies, supporting the preparation of regular update reports for strategic decision‑making for existing and new markets.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases for new initiatives by gathering and analysing data, creating presentations, and summarising market and strategic fit analysis.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for international business collaboration mechanisms, including organising meetings, preparing materials, and tracking follow‑up actions.
  • Support the maintenance of stakeholder relationships by preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Begin to build and develop own network to support the team’s access and insights.
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking or strategic planning in global corporates.
  • Background in and passion for retail, consumer, logistics and e‑commerce preferred.
  • A problem‑solving disposition with strong data analytics and research skills complemented by excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data to drive insights, structuring your own research plan and executing it with guidance from seniors.
  • Ability to convert data into actionable insights that inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Experience creating reports, memos and presentations (PPT, Word, Excel) including data visualisation (charts, models, tables).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting with senior internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Organised, enthusiastic and hard‑working, with ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience supporting project management, including tracking deliverables and follow‑ups to ensure timely delivery.
  • Proactive attitude with strong willingness to learn and work across collaborative, cross‑functional projects and teams.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal), with Chinese language an asset, as are other European languages.
