Job summary

A leading fast-food brand in the UK is looking for a Category Buyer to manage the purchasing of goods and services essential for business objectives. This role involves developing supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with policies. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, procurement experience, and strong negotiation skills. The position offers hybrid working and various benefits including a comprehensive pension plan and 25% off meals.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a procurement, sourcing, or buying role.
  • Professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM, etc.) are desirable but not required.
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Run Procurement processes RFx processes for sourcing initiatives.
  • Contribute to procurement reporting and analysis, including spend analysis.
  • Facilitate regular communication between suppliers and internal teams.
