Overview

SPOT WELDER / ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE (Days or Afternoons) – Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Based in Tipton, West Midlands. Pay £12.40 per hour plus shift allowance for afternoons or nights only. Training will be on day shift 6am-2pm.

Responsibilities

• Spot Welding / Machine operating
• Fabrication and assembling products
• Manual handling and using trimming tools
• Using measuring equipment and devices
• Following instructions from drawings
• Quality inspecting finished product
• Read and follow instructions from technical plans and drawings
• Minimise material waste and ensure a high-quality finish
• Handle materials in line with health & safety standards
• Support product changeovers and continuous improvement processes

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in SPOT WELDING, based in a factory environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Confidence reading drawings/specifications
• A basic level of PC literacy
• An organised and safety-conscious approach
