Join us as a Speech & Language Therapist Team Lead!

Are you an experienced Speech & Language Therapist looking to take the next step in career? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with complex needs? If so, we want to hear from you!

Role: Speech & Language Therapist Team Lead
Location: Liverpool & surrounding areas
Hours: 37.5 per week, over 41 weeks (term-time)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £48,022 FTE (pro-rated to £43,753 term time)

Alongside an incredible team of like-minded peers, you’ll be working behind-the-scenes to support our staff, volunteers, families, and supporters. You will be helping our work happen across the charity; enabling us to care for and champion the rights, needs and ambitions of the people we support.

As our Team Lead, you will:
  • Deliver high-quality therapy within SEN school settings, supporting pupils, families, and staff.
  • Take on a complex caseload, providing evidence-based interventions and clinical expertise.
  • Lead and mentor junior colleagues, fostering professional growth.
  • Specialise in a clinical area such as AAC, Autism, SEMH, or Dysfluency, contributing to service development and innovation.
  • Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and Advisory Teachers.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Is a qualified Speech & Language Therapist (HCPC registered & RCSLT member).
  • Has significant post‑qualification experience, ideally with young people with complex needs.
  • Can work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Has experience providing clinical supervision and training.
  • Is innovative, flexible, and committed to delivering excellence in therapy services.
