A conservation organization in the United Kingdom is seeking volunteers for a work party to assist with hands-on conservation tasks. Our volunteer work party meets once a month on a Saturday, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, throughout the winter. It’s a brilliant way to get outdoors, learn new skills, and help protect a special habitat.

From Blandford, head towards Salisbury on the A354.
Turn right at the signpost for Gussages / Horton.
After half a mile, turn left toward Gussage St Michael.
At the village junction, turn right.
The reserve is about half a mile along the road.
Park on the roadside near the water pumping station.
