Sous Chef – Lulworth Gunnery School

Full‑Time • 37.5 hours per week • £17.25 per hour

5 days over 7 • Includes 2 weekends in 4

Bring your passion for quality food to a unique and rewarding role at Lulworth Gunnery School. We’re looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to support our Head Chef and help deliver exceptional meals to staff and visitors.

Shift Patterns

• Early: 06:00–12:00
• Late: 11:00–18:30
• Working 2 weekends in every 4

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef with day‑to‑day kitchen operations
• Prepare, cook, and serve high‑quality meals to service standards
• Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and teamwork
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards
• Assist with menu planning, stock control, and allergen management
• Deliver quality and efficiency across all shift patterns
