What you will do:

Respond to referrals with concerns about child safety or wellbeing. Conduct home visits and engage directly with children and families. Ensure the child’s voice is central to assessments and decisions. Perform statutory duties such as Section 17 Single Assessments and Section 47 Enquiries. Participate in Initial Child Protection Conferences and Child in Need meetings. Prepare Section 7 reports for private law proceedings when involved. Work in a rota system, focusing on new referrals every three weeks, allowing concentration on ongoing cases. Collaborate with an Advice and Information Officer, Children’s Social Care Practitioner, and business support staff for streamlined administrative tasks and direct work with families.
