About The Role:

This is a site based role with a strong focus on safety. Scotland and northern England based candidates are of particular interest.

You will be managing the allocation of manpower, quality management, liaison and planning with the customer, stock control and dealing with third party land owners.

There will be responsibility for completing internal and customer reports as well as weekly wages. The role will be supported through additional training and mentoring.

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in safe and professional manor
  • Ensure that any work carried out is to the highest standard
  • Deliver maintenance services on the client’s premise to ensure they are legally compliant
  • Carry out maintenance and minor repairs as directed by the site manager and helpdesk team
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • National Grid Person. National Grid Competent Person (desirable). Working at height, First aid, aerial rescue.
  • Driver’s license (essential)
  • IOSH (desirable)
  • You will have significant experience in tower painting and will be comfortable in dealing with people in challenging circumstances. The management of safety is critical, and you will be able to demonstrate safety competence and understanding in a high risk environment.
  • Enthusiasm, pride in workmanship, reliable, honest.
  • Driven to improve standards and work practice.
  • Must be committed to safe working and getting work completed right first time.
  • Must be able to deal with people in a fair but robust manner.
