Outline of role

With assistance from the Project Manager, ensure that, from concept to completion, the pre-development and construction process is effectively, safely and efficiently managed.

Main responsibilities
  • Ensure the Sigma PRIDE values are followed
  • Ability to deliver through a team making sure they are driving for the best results
  • Providing leadership for site staff
  • For the adherence to the plan, specification and programme of works
  • Review and Implement RAMS
  • Prepare progress reports, monitor programmes and sign off quality documents
  • Sign Employees timesheets and subcontractors onsite to ensure effective cost tracing
  • Ensure that induction is rigorously carried out and records completed
  • Identify causes of nonconformance on site, instigate action to control and prevent re-occurrence
  • Liaise on a dayto-day basis with client and / or their representatives to resolve immediate issues, ensuring their needs are achieved and maintaining a professional approach
  • To check maintain and ensure good standards of work and with clean working areas throughout site.
  • Any variations or extra works are recorded in detail and discussed with PM and QS
