Job summary

This is a full‑time Site Agent role based in Plymouth. The Consultant will provide leadership and/or management in a client‑facing civil construction role, personally demonstrating a positive culture including key values and behaviours of safety and quality. Daily tasks include conducting site inspections and evaluations, developing project plans, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, providing technical expertise and supporting the contractor in construction delivery to ensure project goals are achieved. The role also involves regular communication and coordination with stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of projects, including members of a Design Authority, Office for Nuclear Regulations and Independent Nuclear Office.

Qualifications and experience
  • Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Vocational training in construction or engineering.
  • 6+ years of site experience.
  • IT skills including MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
  • BPSS level of security clearance is required; only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes or MISWG member passports are considered.
Desirable skills
  • CSCS card.
  • SMSTS / IOSH.
  • Experience in BIM / digital tools such as Autodesk and/or Bentley.
  • Scheduling using Aphex, P6 etc.
