Qualifications

• Experienced in Simulation & Emulation using Emulate3D or equivalent.
• Skilled in coding languages such as C# and JavaScript.
• Holds a relevant degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Familiar with CAD and standard IT packages.
• Fluency in English with the ability to travel within the UK/internationally.
• Holds a full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Build 3D Models (digital twins) using Emulate3D.
• Create renders and fly-through videos for the sales process.
• Use VR headsets to walk customers through new warehouses.
• Model solutions in Emulate3D using C# or JavaScript.
• Collaborate with Systems team for control replication in simulation.
• Run simulations under various conditions and evaluate performance.
• Report results to Solution Lead and customers.
• Develop emulation models connecting to Logistex WES.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Simulation Engineer, you will work alongside a supportive team of experienced Solutions Consultants, Designers, Data Analysts, Software Architects, and Business Development Managers to create digital twins of complex automation solutions and develop these into simulation and emulation models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build 3D Models (digital twins) of proposed automation solutions using Emulate3D Simulation & Emulation software
• Create renders and fly-through videos to aid the sales process
• Use Virtual Reality headsets to walk customers through their new warehouse before it’s built
• Model solutions as simulations in Emulate3D using C# or JavaScript
• Collaborate with Systems team to replicate control decisions in simulation
• Run simulations under various conditions, evaluate performance, throughput, and resilience
• Report simulation results to Solution Lead, wider team, and customers
• Develop emulation models that connect to Logistex Warehouse Execution System (WES)
