We have an exciting opportunity for a Sexual Health Clinical Lead to join our Clinical Team at HMP New Hall based in Wakefield.

HMP New Hall is a female adult and young offenders institution offering medium level of security with a population of 344 female.

We are looking for a Clinical Lead who is experienced within female healthcare clinics and you will be managing a team of 2.

Hours
  • Monday - Friday
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 8am - 4pm
Salary

This position is part time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £51,643 - £58,012 per annum FTE - depending on experience,

What you'll be doing

As a Sexual Health Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Deliver evidence-based assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of women’s health interventions.
  • Provide support for menstrual health, including management of menstrual disorders, access to products, and education.
  • Deliver sexual health screening, assessment, and treatment pathways.
  • Offer contraception counselling and access, including long-acting reversible contraception where clinically appropriate.
  • Deliver group and one-to-one health education sessions on topics such as sexual health, menstrual wellbeing, contraception, menopause, healthy ageing, and self-care.
  • Identify and escalated safeguarding concerns in line with Practice Plus Group and prison policies.
