Job summary

A global telecommunications company in Greater London seeks a candidate with extensive knowledge in voice network operations and cloud environments. The role focuses on maintaining high service availability and troubleshooting network issues in a dynamic, international team. Candidates should have a degree in a related field and over 5 years of experience in telecommunications. Familiarity with DevOps practices and VoIP solutions is preferred, alongside skills in Python and cloud technologies. This position also involves participating in 24/7 emergency support.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in communications/network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of circuit-switched mobile core networks and protocols.
  • Experience with VoIP solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve escalated Customer Voice Cases.
  • Respond to operational incidents in the Voice network.
  • Lead software upgrades and migrations of network nodes.
  • Assist in evolution of automation for a full DevOps environment.
  • Deploy, integrate, and test VNFs in cloud environments.
