Senior Engineer – Systems Engineering with MBSE

Where will you be working?

BGEN is one of the UK’s largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Food and Beverage industries to deliver next generation, value‑added engineering solutions.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for an engineer who enjoys seeing projects through from start to finish. In this role, you’ll guide the full lifecycle of control projects—design, development, testing and commissioning—making sure each stage runs smoothly. You’ll create clear technical documentation, develop PLC and HMI software, and design SCADA solutions that keep systems efficient and reliable. You’ll also use reverse engineering to strengthen design records and modernise existing systems. You’ll mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge and supporting their growth. If you love teamwork, problem solving and making a real impact, this role is a great fit.

What you’ll bring:
  • Skilled with at least two of Rockwell, Mitsubishi or Schneider systems
