Overview of the role
The role of the Senior Social Care Worker is to provide support and guidance to a team of social care workers, whilst making sure you always provide the highest level of care and leadby example. You will also liaise with the seniors in the home reporting any matters of concern.You must have experience in the care sector and have the willingness to learn and expand on your previous knowledge. Not only will you make a huge difference topeople’s lives, but you’ll be able to enjoy days out, trips away and join in with many more activities, all of which ensures the people we work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives.

Where will youwork?
Abbeyfield Lodge is a large, detached home near the centre of Fleet in Hampshire, registered to support up to 13 men and women of varying ages with mental health conditions and associated complex needs. The home offers a programme of individual and group activities, and has excellent links with local colleges and businesses offering work placements. Regular monthly residents’ meetings provide a forum to discuss service provision and encourage feedback. Fleet town centre is a short walk away, and there’s easy access to public transport, plus the home also has two vehicles for local travel, recreational and educational visits and activities like swimming and bowling.
