Job summary

A healthcare provider is looking for a full-time Band 7 Senior Safeguarding Practitioner to join their Safeguarding Team in Leicester. This 6-month secondment role involves delivering effective safeguarding supervision, supporting training programs, and improving outcomes through partnership work. Candidates should have extensive clinical experience, knowledge of safeguarding legislation, and experience leading teams. The position offers flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

  • Extensive clinical experience of case-load management and working with people at risk.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within safeguarding procedures and national legislation.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a safeguarding environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective safeguarding supervision to frontline staff.
  • Support and contribute to the planning, delivery and evaluation of safeguarding education programs.
  • Work in partnership with agencies, improving outcomes using a Whole Family approach.
  • Promote and develop the LPT Safeguarding Team as a training placement for students.
  • Provide professional leadership for safeguarding children and develop practice across the Trust.
  • Manage care quality performance and support the completion of management reviews.
