Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to construction projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will work closely with our project teams to ensure financial efficiency and value for money while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Contracts Management and Estimating departments to ensure commercial viability of contracts.
  • Take an active role in our Supply Chain Management Initiative, developing relationships with subcontractors.
  • Ensure all monthly valuations and final accounts are submitted and agreed with clients within agreed timescales.
  • Manage cash flow and produce monthly management reporting.
  • Fully embrace the company’s Customers 1st campaign to continually improve customer interaction.
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Have experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a main contractor (preferred but not essential).
  • Be comfortable working with minimal supervision and act on own initiative to solve problems.
  • Be IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrate a track record of profitability on projects you have worked on.

This is a full‑time permanent position. Successful candidates may be based from our Paisley head office or our Edinburgh office in Newbridge. Due to the nature of the role, travel to and from sites and client meetings will also be required.
