Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Accrington for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. Responsibilities include overseeing cost control and management for construction projects, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), and delivering detailed cost planning and reporting. The role entails collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered to budget and specification, while adhering to deadlines and quality standards. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will also provide support in tendering and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting
• Proficiency in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Cost Planning
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Previous experience in construction or related industries is preferred
• Relevant professional qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Membership or eligibility for membership with professional bodies such as RICS is an asset
• Essential: at least 5 years of working experience in the UK construction industry and currently holding a position in the UK construction sector.
