This is a full‑time, permanent position. You will work Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:00 and Friday 07:00 – 15:00. However flexibility will be essential at peak times, this is logistics after all!

What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Leading and motivating the operation within your daily area of responsibility, managing a team of warehouse operatives and other supporting roles
  • Be responsible for achieving operational targets, goals and contractual KPI’s for the purpose of ensuring the provision of an effective and efficient quality service
  • Manage and motivate the team by giving direction and leadership monitoring performance to ensure the depot achieves high performance levels
  • Proactively encourage a positive and constructive relationship on site with the union and union representatives
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment
  • Strong knowledge of QC batch inspection practices
