Senior Project Manager – Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud – UK – Business Unit ORC – Compensation Competitive (including bonus)

Job Description

The Technical Manager will lead the technical workstreams in a Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation initiative, ensuring seamless implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM and other systems/applications. This role involves managing integrations, data migration, security, and technical configurations while aligning with business objectives and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
  • Drive technical aspects of HCM transformation projects, including Oracle Fusion HCM modules and other application(s) involved.
  • Collaborate with functional leads, HR stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
  • Design and implement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware tools.
  • Manage custom reports and dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher, and HCM Extracts.
  • Develop and execute data migration strategies using different tools.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and implement robust security roles and access controls.
  • Coordinate environment setup, patching, and release cycles for HCM systems.
  • Manage technical configurations across multiple environments.
  • Lead and mentor technical team members (integration specialists, developers).
  • Communicate effectively with HR leadership and IT teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks proactively.
  • Support System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Payroll Parallel Reconciliation (PPR), and hyper‑care support.
Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in implementation of Oracle Fusion applications.
  • Knowledge of HCM technical tools including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulae, Payroll batch loader.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams (technical, business, management).
  • Ability to lead discussions with customer teams for integrations, data migrations, and reports related to Oracle Fusion HCM and other applications.
  • Experience with full SDLC lifecycle.
  • Preparation of status reports with RAG, highlighting risks/mitigations and maintaining RAID log.

  • Excellent planner for release and delivery planning.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring team members (5+).
  • Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with DevOps model preferred.
