Qualifications

• You will need to hold a BSc/BEng qualification leading to Chartered Engineer status.
• Proficiency in Microsoft packages is required.
• A current full UK driving licence is essential.
• Prior operational experience in a DNO/TNO is preferred.
• Familiarity with Power Systems Protection and Control practices is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of department work programmes and major project installations.
• Communicate with Transmission Operations and maintain strong relationships.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with safety legislation.
• Coach and mentor trainees and assist in operational training development.
• Manage risk control frameworks and develop risk management strategies.
