A global consulting firm in London is looking for a Senior Principal Civil Engineer to lead impactful projects and mentor engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong design experience in the UK water sector and a passion for sustainability. This role offers hybrid working patterns and excellent development opportunities within the civil engineering field.

We partner with the top water clients across the south region and the UK, work on major water projects, and design with community in mind by reducing environmental impacts and improving social impacts. We enable the delivery of sustainable development and infrastructure projects that adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change.
Within the High Wycombe, Cambridge, Reading and London teams, we support our clients in delivering projects across Water and Wastewater treatment, Water and wastewater networks, storm water overflows and urban drainage. We have a diverse and challenging pipeline across the project lifecycle ranging from asset planning/strategy, concept design, outline design and detailed design. Our partnership with contractor partners enables work on major Design and Build projects. Our team also has the opportunity to support colleagues across the country and become part of the UK-wide team, keeping sustainability, the environment and the communities we serve at the heart of everything we do.

We are looking for a Senior Principal Civil Engineer who enjoys working on exciting and impactful projects to join our team in High Wycombe, Reading, Cambridge and London. You will:
We are interested in speaking with passionate engineers with extensive design experience within the UK water industry. You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or other relevant subject and ideally hold professional qualification (i.e. Chartered or incorporated member) with a relevant professional body such as ICE or CIWEM.
You will have a passion for the water and environment sector and for supporting developing civil engineers. You will have experience in successful project delivery and working collaboratively with project teams to develop innovative solutions. You will have experience of working in a client-facing role, leading client engagement and collaboration on a regular basis.
