A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join their Pharmacy Team in London. This role involves providing pharmacy clinical trials services and ensuring accuracy in medication dispensing. The ideal candidate will have a GPhC registration and will collaborate with the pharmacy team to support the efficient delivery of services related to cancer clinical trials. Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9-5pm

We’re looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Team at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, currently rated “Good” by the CQC. Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is a world-leading clinical trial facility specialising in the development of new therapies and precision medication for cancer patients. We believe that participation in a clinical trial is the first step in fighting cancer, not the last.
As the research arm of HCA’s global cancer institute, we are the first UK trials unit outside of the NHS that has the ability to offer new anti-cancer drugs in clinical trials. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with great interpersonal skills to join and contribute to the development and growth of the pharmacy department at SCRIUK in the role of Clinical Trials Technician. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a pharmacy clinical trials service. They will assist in the set-up and coordination of pharmacy services at SCRIUK.
The department is purely for outpatients who are visiting to take part in cancer related clinical trials. Working within this small team you will have the support of the Pharmacists and Technicians to deliver a high quality level of service.
