A leading environmental consultancy in the UK is looking for a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer to lead site investigation and contaminated land assessment projects. The successful candidate will manage client relationships, handle project budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. A strong background in Phase 1 and Phase 2 risk assessments is essential, along with experience in remediation planning. This role requires a valid UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel.
As a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will take the lead in designing, managing, and delivering site investigation and contaminated land assessment projects. You will work closely with both public and private sector clients to assess and mitigate land contamination risks, support planning applications, and deliver remediation solutions. This role demands strong technical expertise in Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Intrusive Investigations, and the development and supervision of remediation strategies.
