This position will collaborate with the Procurement Team, Planning Team, Fleet Admin Team, RCM Team and SSC Team in Portugal to drive efficiencies and ensure accuracy of the financial reporting. ****What we can offer you:***** Competitive Basic Salary* Starting on 6 weeks holiday (including bank holidays), increasing with length of service* Free on site car parking* Pension and a life insurance scheme* Enhanced Maternity and Adoption Leave *(subject to service and earning qualifications)** Discounted car hire rates across our network* 20% discount on EE mobile phone contracts\** Discounted hotel rates through the Accor Group after 12 months service\** Cycle2Work\** Free annual eye tests* Confidential legal and support service through BUPA* Career progression and development*\*forms part of current non contractual benefit offering***Main duties:*** Perform analysis of fleet deals proposed by the Procurement team and recommend the suitable course of action* Support in obtaining necessary approvals for sourcing strategy and deals from the Senior Management team* Attaining better deals by supporting procurement in negotiations and providing transparent and confident holding costs through analysis of manufacturer offers* Responsibility for optimising the sourcing and planning strategy from a financial perspective – volume mix, OEM mix, model mix* Work closely with the planning team to optimise volume plan in accordance with financial targets* Identifying areas of improvement within the cost lines and providing valuable recommendations for improvement* Preparing and presenting fleet decks to stakeholders* Supporting in post mortem analysis of vehicles to understand any outliers and align strategy accordingly* Preparation of month end accruals relating to vehicle delivery, auction fees and transport fees* Review of month end P&L results prepared by the SSC and providing feedback on the figures* Reconciliation of vehicle invoices and providing support to the sales admin and invoicing teams to correct the pricing* Posting ad-hoc invoices as and when required* Assisting with external bank and company audits* Providing timely reports of financial performance that supports decision making* Providing ad hoc reporting and analysis as and when required (Cluster)**Key skills and attributes required:*** Accounting experience essential (part-qualified candidate desirable)* Energetic, proactive, hardworking with a willingness to learn* Good organisational and time management skills* Confident working with numbers with the ability to apply creativity and out of box thinking to any analysis* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written* Attention to detail* MS Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, IF statements, vlookups and graphs)* Experience with Google Mail, Google Drive, Google Sheets and Business Objects will be a plus* Can thrive in fast moving situationsIf you believe you have what it takes to become a successful Senior Fleet Analyst within Europcar, then please apply today!*Agencies - Please do not send any speculative candidates or CVs in response to this advert.
