Job description

BMS Engineering are specialists in the design and manufacture of tubular and sheetmetal fabrications, roll cages and chassis structures for the Automotive and Motorsport Industries.

Due to continued growth, we require a highly skilled Lead Fabricator with experience in the Motorsport Industryto join our small team and support a range ofexciting projects.We are looking for a well organised individual with a fineattention to detail and good communication skills.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading hands-on fabrication of bespoke motorsport components
  • Interpreting and working from CAD and detailed engineering drawings
  • Collaborating with engineers and technicians to deliver projects on time
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Helping to identify and implement process improvements
Essential Skills:
  • TIG and MIG welding (Steel & Aluminium) to a high standard
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Motorsport fabrication
  • Tubular and sheetmetal fabrication expertise
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Advantageous Skills:
  • CNC machinery operation (press brake, mill, lathe)
  • CAD software experience
  • FARO arm CMM/inspection experience
  • Roll cage installation
  • Titanium welding
