Job summary

A leading nuclear engineering firm in the UK seeks a Senior Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer to lead the design and maintenance of high-integrity systems across nuclear facilities. Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality administrative and coordination support across projects and teams.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and reporting in line with company standards.
  • Monitor progress against deadlines and proactively resolve issues to keep tasks on track.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes.

Skills

Design and deliver EC&I systems in regulated environments
Apply nuclear safety standards such as IEC 61508 and BS EN 61511
Work within cross-functional teams on complex engineering projects
Engage with regulators, clients, and suppliers to resolve technical challenges
Produce and review technical documentation including specifications and safety case contributions

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation or a related discipline
Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
