Role
We’re looking for a Senior Creative Team (Copy/Art Director duo) to work on one of the world’s leading car groups – covering a range of brands on their CRM roster. You’ll develop standout creative ideas, bring copy and art direction to life for a range of CRM communications – Direct Mail, Email, SMS, MMS and digital & social. You’ll need to be creative, curious, enthusiastic, and natural problem solvers with a strong work ethic. We want big thinkers and big ideas first, executions second.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing ideas and creative concepts to solve marketing and business problems for clients, while producing engaging content for audiences
- Developing and writing impactful copy across various digital channels, including email and digital display formats
- Crafting messages that adapt to different brand voices of sub‑brands and resonate with diverse audiences
- Creating detailed copy matrices to streamline and clarify messaging strategies
- Translating client objectives into clear, engaging concepts that align with brand goals and drive performance
- Contributing to the creative process from ideation to execution, collaborating closely with designers to bring ideas to life
- Constantly learning and applying insights from creative testing, innovation and optimisation to refine and enhance performance‑driven ideas
- Using data to back up your thinking and insights
- Pushing the various brand’s visual identity to evolve from where they are, to create stand out in a cluttered market
- To push innovation of CRM beyond the expected
- Most importantly, creating big ideas first
What You Both Bring
- Demonstrable experience in advertising is a plus, but passion and a strong CRM portfolio matters most
- A knack for translating complex ideas into engaging, actionable creative outcomes
- Strong understanding of performance creative, with an eagerness to learn about data‑driven ideas that drive results
- Excellent time management and an ability to juggle multiple projects
- Self‑starter with a collaborative mindset, thriving in a team environment and eager to work hand‑in‑hand with designers
- Naturally curious with a love for ideas, copy and art direction and an attention to detail that borders on geeky—yes, you know the difference between an en dash and an em dash! And kerning keeps you up at night!
Key Responsibilities
- Express ideas with clarity; on brand; on message and targeted to audience
- Presents ideas to both the wider internal team and, occasionally, externally to clients with structure and parity
- Comprehends and understands brand continuity, brand guidelines and brand positioning
- Creatively supports the effective use of technology and its applications to solve business problems
- Contributes work to pitches
- Drives, defines and feeds back on quality of briefs, regular reviews, feedback channels, creative quality and collaboration
- Proactively identifies opportunities for creative work to be performed for clients, with guidance from seniors and directors
- Executes creative concepts together at the direction of the creative director
- Contribute to leading the accounts to greatness alongside the creative director
