Senior Care Assistant – Cinnamon Care Collection

Location: Sutton Park Grange, Sutton Coldfield, United Kingdom.

Employment: Full Time, Day shifts with alternate weekend working.

Annual salary: £14.14 per hour plus company benefits.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and reliable Senior Carers to be part of our care team caring for our residential and dementia residents. You will promote choice, individuality and independence for our residents, support and mentor care assistants, supervise team activities, and administer medication.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care to residents in their home environment.
  • Support residents with personal care, social activities and mobility.
  • Supervise and mentor junior care assistants, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate medication records.
  • Promote choice, individuality and independence to our residents at all times.
  • Organise and prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
Qualifications
  • Physically and medically able to carry out duties, with or without assistive aids.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in health and social care.
  • Supervisory experience in a care setting.
  • Medication administration experience with relevant qualification.
  • Team player, self‑motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
