About the Role

Legal 500 is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead our Latin America regional sales team. This is a pivotal position for a confident, people-focused sales leader with a strong record of achieving results through coaching, motivation, and strategic direction.

You’ll be responsible for driving regional revenues, leading a team of four, and managing your own portfolio of renewal and warm business clients across the Latin American market. With a focus on platform sales, renewals, and long-term partnerships, this role requires a leader who combines commercial sharpness with genuine relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Manage, coach, and inspire a team of four Business Development Executives.
  • Create a high-performance culture with clear expectations and accountability.
  • Lead by example with a proactive, no-excuses mindset and strong personal standards.
  • Encourage CRM best practices and identify areas for process improvement.

Client Development & Revenue Growth

  • Oversee a portfolio of renewal and new business accounts across the Latin America region.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying new partnership opportunities.
  • Drive revenue growth across subscriptions, online inventory, content/thought leadership, and data products.
  • Ensure client satisfaction, renewals, and retention through strategic engagement and delivery.

Sales Execution

  • Build and execute sales strategies for the region in line with global objectives.
  • Accurately forecast, monitor performance metrics, and manage pipelines for you and your team.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor developments, and client needs.
  • Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and product teams to enhance client solutions and drive value.
About You

  • Strong track record in B2B sales, ideally within professional services, media, or data-driven environments.
  • Skilled in motivating and developing people to achieve their full potential.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to client relationships and renewals.

  • Business-level Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
