Job Description

Lastminute.com is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a crucial role in the Customer Acquisition area within the Marketing department. The ideal candidate is a data lover, obsessed with a data-driven approach, and capable of understanding the dynamics of both marketing and data departments.

The job in brief:

  • Contract: Permanent – full-time (36 hours/week)

What your impact will be:

  • Define and review an overarching marketing strategy based on data and insights, aligned with company business goals, identifying areas for optimization and experimentation.
  • Supervise reporting for the Customer Acquisition departments, communicating performance trends and insights to the manager.
  • Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to ensure alignment and coherence of overall data initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing teams to offer support in setting marketing strategies based on analytics.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in marketing analytics and technology.
Qualifications
  • SQL and Excel skills are a must, with the ability to query the database, extract data, and manage it.
  • Experience in digital marketing, with a understanding of main dynamics and the ability to set a proper strategy following a data-driven approach.
  • Proactive analytic mindset, able to transform raw and unstructured data into valuable, actionable marketing insights.
  • Proficiency in understanding, leveraging, implementing, and measuring Marketing Technology stacks needed for digital marketing (MarTech).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and insights.
  • Adapting to changing priorities, technologies, and business requirements in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Mandatory Italian language proficiency.
  • Fluent in English to efficiently communicate with international team members and stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Paid Search advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Google Search Ads 360.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Google Analytics 4 and related big query data models.
  • Experience in setting marketing strategies and/or budgeting/marketing budget/OKR definition.
  • Experience in the programming language Python.
