Senior Authorised Person

Join us as a Senior Authorised Person at our Boscombe Down site, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technology in partnership with some of the most brilliant minds.

Role Overview

As a Senior Authorised Person, you will provide support and subject‑matter expertise to deliver planned or requested activities in order to effectively deliver high‑quality operations service. You will drive improvement and support a network of Site APs, Facility Managers and Integrated Delivery Teams with technical advice and guidance on the following high hazard areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality operations by interpreting knowledge of policy framework.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure customer and business needs are satisfied and issues are mitigated.
• Resolve a wide range of complex queries and support others with the resolution of more complex issues, escalating where appropriate.
• Drive technical standards, assist with site audits and technical support and maintain appropriate levels of competence.
• Champion best practice and encourage others to demonstrate appropriate leadership behaviours to promote a positive culture.

Essential Experience

• Sound understanding of JSP375 and appointed/responsible person processes.
• Proven track record in health & safety and compliance.
• Good working knowledge of applicable regulations and legislation.

Essential Qualifications

• Current SAP Certificate in either HV/LV Electrical.

This role is 37 hours per week, based at our Boscombe Down site. Hybrid working patterns are available. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites will be expected.
