A local educational authority in Norwich is seeking a Senior Adult Learning Tutor to provide high-quality teaching in British Sign Language. The ideal candidate will have a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to obtain one and should demonstrate strong ICT skills alongside a learner-centred approach. Job: Senior Adult Learning Tutor – Annualised
Location: County Hall, Norwich
Contract: Permanent, 0.3 FTE, Annualised hours, Salary £37,280 – £39,152 per annum pro rata (Scale I)
We are looking for a qualified, skilled, self‑motivated, enthusiastic and highly organised individual to provide inspirational teaching to learners in British Sign Language (BSL).
If you have the relevant vocational or occupational skills but do not currently hold a teaching qualification, Adult Learning may be able to provide funding to help you obtain the required qualification. You will be part of a well‑established, supportive team and training will be provided.
