Job summary

A leading education training organization is recruiting for a SEND Trainer in the Liverpool City Region. As the first point of contact, you will support learners in achieving their qualifications. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of learners, delivering educational qualifications, and utilizing an e-portfolio system. Qualifications

Realise are recruiting for a SEND Trainer across the Liverpool City Region. Your focus will be to support learners to reach their goals and complete their qualifications. As the first point of contact for your learners, you will provide the support they need to flourish through their learning journey with Realise.*Please note this is subject to contract win

Responsibilities
  • Supporting a caseload of learners across your region, face to and remotely.
  • Delivering a range of award‑winning adult education qualifications.
  • Coming up with appropriate solutions for your learners, to ensure that they have the best experience possible and develop their interest and career.
  • Utilising an e‑portfolio system to effectively manage the learner journey.

  • You can expect a one‑stage interview process for this position, which will comprise a one‑hour formal interview, likely on Teams, where we will ask you to prepare and deliver a short microteach, shortly followed by competency and behavioural questions.

About You
  • A Level 3 qualification in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, or equivalent is essential, as is work experience in this area.
  • Experience of working within education would be advantageous.
  • An assessing qualification (e.g., TAQA/A1/D32/33/CAVA) would be advantageous.
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) would be advantageous.
  • Experience in building and managing your own caseload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence and your own mode of transport.
