Security Officer / Concierge – Nights

Vigilant Security is hiring a proactive, enthusiastic Security Officer/Concierge – Nights to provide a 5‑star experience while maintaining a subtle security presence at our Holborn location. The role is full‑time, starting 19 December 2025.

Working Hours
  • 7 nights: 19:00 – 07:00 (recurring shift pattern)
  • 3 days off: Sat/Sun 07:00 – 19:00
Remuneration & Benefits
  • Rate of pay: £14.74 per hour
  • 28 days of holiday per annum

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a 5‑star guest experience and professional first impression.
  • Provide proactive welcome to visitors, including reception duties and lobby management.
  • Ensure every visitor is greeted, welcomed, and guided through the building.
  • Anticipate client and visitor requirements and maintain high engagement.
  • Use the Visitor Management System (VMS) to accept guests and contractors.
  • Manage visitor/contractor and lift deliveries to loading bay.
  • Assist the Security Manager with incident reports within 2 hours.
  • Oversee emergency evacuations as necessary.
  • Collaborate with service providers toward shared client goals.
  • Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and safe.
  • Maintain high security awareness.
  • Complete detailed shift handover at end of each shift.

Qualifications
  • Valid SIA DS/CP licence required.
