Job description

Position Title: Transportation Monitor

Reports to: Transportation Supervisor and/or designee

Employment Type: Full-time

Seniority Level: Entry level

Job Function: Education and Training

Industry: Primary and Secondary Education

Work Schedule: 2 hrs./day (6:45 am - 8:45 am)

Full-time duration: 180 days plus contracted holidays

Base pay rate: $15.29 per hour

Qualifications
  • Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Prior experience working with children preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic monetary mathematical calculations.
  • Additional qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and necessary under law, not arbitrary or capricious.
Job Goal

Supervise and provide for the needs of students.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Use school software and technology to process and account for a food sale.
  • Adhere to guidelines of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
  • Maintain student conduct, building policies, and procedures as outlined in the student handbook.
  • Maintain cleanliness of supervised areas.
  • Perform clerical duties as assigned.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Building Principal and/or designee.
