A local educational institution in Wells seeks two experienced candidates to safely operate the school minibus. Successful applicants must have a clean driving licence and previous relevant experience. The role includes ensuring the security and cleanliness of the minibuses. The position offers flexible working hours, either permanent part-time or term-time only. Applicants will undergo safeguarding checks and must declare any previous convictions. Permanent – 20 hours per week (approx 7.00 am – 9.00 am and 5.00 pm – 7.00 pm) or term‑time only – 10 hours per week (afternoon shift 5.00 pm – 7.00 pm).
Wells Cathedral School is seeking to appoint two suitably qualified candidates to safely operate the school minibus. Applicants should have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational setting, and a clean driving licence is essential. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the security, cleanliness and general upkeep of the minibuses.
A clean full driver’s licence prior 1997 or a D1 category licence is essential for this role. Suitable candidates may be interviewed before the closing date, and the school reserves the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made. • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational setting.
• Ability to work in a professional and responsible manner.
