A local authority in Hawkwell seeks a reliable School Crossing Patrol Officer responsible for ensuring children's safety at crossings during morning and afternoon school hours. About The Role
£13.00 per hour
Location: Hawkwell
Working Style: Community‑based worker
Support schools once in the morning and once in the afternoon, ensuring the safety of all pedestrians crossing the road to and from school and its surrounding locations.
We are looking for a punctual and reliable individual, who is approachable and enjoys engaging with the public.
Position is for 7.5 hours per week approximately, with a holiday pay element included. You will need to be available to work during the 39 weeks of the academic year, for 45 minutes between 08:00 – 09:00 in the morning and 45 minutes between 14:45 – 15:45 in the afternoon approximately, depending on individual site requirements. Uniform, equipment and training will be provided.
