This role will support the design, build, and deployment of core operational data structures—including materials, recipes, routings, and resource allocations.

After go-live, the specialist will take ownership of ongoing master data maintenance, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with operational needs.

Overview

The SAP Administrator will be a key contributor to the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on planning and manufacturing master data. This role will support the design, build, and deployment of core operational data structures—including materials, recipes, routings, and resource allocations. After go-live, the specialist will take ownership of ongoing master data maintenance, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and alignment with operational needs.

Responsibilities

Project – SAP S/4HANA Implementation Support

  • Support and become a subject matter expert (SME) for operational master data in planning and manufacturing within the SAP S/4HANA project.
  • Support the definition, mapping, and migration of master data including:
    • Materials and finished goods
    • Bill of Materials (BOMs)
    • Recipes and routings
    • Work centres and resources
    • Production versions
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business process owners, and data teams to ensure accurate and complete data structures.
  • Conduct data validation, testing, and troubleshooting during mock loads and cutover activities.
  • Assist in the development of master data governance processes and SOPs.

Day to Day – Ongoing Master Data Support

  • Maintain and update planning and manufacturing master data, ensuring alignment with operational and commercial requirements.
  • Set up new products and recipes in SAP in coordination with NPD, planning, and manufacturing teams.
  • Manage changes to existing master data (e.g., resource allocations, recipe updates, alternate BOMs, and production versions).
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all relevant SAP modules.
  • Monitor master data KPIs and drive continuous improvement in data quality.
  • Act as one of the points of contact for operational master data queries and support.
About you
Key Skills and Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of SAP master data in the areas of planning and manufacturing (PP, PP-DS, and/or PP-PI modules).
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC in a manufacturing or food/FMCG environment.
  • Understanding of production processes, routings, BOMs, and recipes, especially in a batch or process industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to data management.
  • Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills across operations, planning, NPD, and IT.
  • Experience in data migration, cleansing, and validation.
  • Familiarity with master data governance best practices.
