Job description

HBNL is looking for a Sales Operations Executive with a sharp commercial mindset and the ability to turn large volumes of sales data into clear, actionable insight.

This is a full-time fixed-term role for a minimum of 6 months, based in Inverness.

Working closely with the Head of Sales, you will analyse performance across multiple sales channels and identify opportunities to improve volume, revenue and retention.

You will compile targeted sales walk lists aligned with Go to Market strategy, review field performance patterns and provide location specific feedback to help refine activity on the ground.

You will assess customer feedback and present new offers for consideration, support the retention process by analysing its impact on ARPU, conversion and churn, and make recommendations where performance can be strengthened.

Daily lead management is a key part of the role, including cleansing data, filtering by type and ensuring clean lists are sent to partners and agencies.

You will review telesales performance in detail and provide meaningful analysis to support improvement conversations with agency management.

You will also ensure the sales CRM is kept up to date with accurate data from external sources.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience working with data in an operational or commercial environment and confidence handling complex datasets.

You should bring strong analytical skills, a problem solving approach, and the ability to identify root causes rather than symptoms.

You must be organised, proactive and able to deliver reports and recommendations on time, even when under pressure.

HBNL’s mission is to close the digital divide by delivering future‑proofed fibre broadband to underserved rural communities across Scotland.

The company continues to grow quickly and is rated Excellent on Trustpilot.

Salary is around £30,000 depending on experience.

Hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
