We are looking for an ambitious and driven Sales Development Representative Team Lead to join our high-performing Beacon Sales team. Hanson Wade is a business intelligence organisation specialising in data intelligence and building communities of key opinion leaders in the Life Sciences industry. Our products are considered best-in-class, and with the business experiencing rapid growth and aiming to double in size again over the next five years, it’s an exciting time to join if you’re seeking fast personal development and career progression.

The Beacon Sales team sells subscriptions to our market-leading SaaS platform into the biopharmaceutical market. We pride ourselves on deep industry knowledge, consultative sales conversations and structured sales methodology.

In the SDR Team Lead role you will lead, mentor and develop a team of 6-7 Sales Development Representatives whilst also actively contributing to pipeline and revenue targets. This is a high-impact position with a clear path to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing SDR team
  • Run weekly 1:1s and team meetings to maintain a high-performance culture
  • Ensure fair territory coverage across all lead flows
  • Plan and deliver weekly call trainings to improve team skills
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Account Managers to drive results
Individual Contribution:
  • Meet and exceed sales targets for qualified pipeline and revenue influenced
  • Lead by example, consistently hitting KPIs and inspiring the team
  • Develop deep knowledge of Beacon products, clients, and the Life Sciences market
  • Provide feedback to optimise sales strategy, tech stack, and processes
About you
  • Degree educated with 4+ years B2B sales experience
  • Proven experience managing and developing junior sales reps
  • Passionate about business and sales, highly motivated to succeed
  • Target-driven and always aiming to overachieve
  • Energetic, creative, and resilient with strong work ethic

Salary: Base salary £40k - £50k and OTE of £65 - £75k in Year 1. Increase each year depends on success in the role
